ACPV WINS DESIGN COMPETITION FOR NEW PORTA NUOVA GIOIA DEVELOPMENT IN MILAN

Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel has been announced as the winner of the international architectural design competition for the latest development in Milan’s Porta Nuova Gioia area. COIMA announced the results of the competition for the two buildings bordering on Via Melchiorre Gioia – Sassetti – Pirelli during today’s discussion on the role of architecture in culture and in economic development at Fondazione Riccardo Catella. At the event, Patricia Viel has also been confirmed as member of the committee of experts who will develop a set of guidelines for a unified masterplan of the Porta Nuova Gioia area.

We are pleased that our design has been chosen for its environmentally sustainable features and innovative technological solutions from a shortlist of five distinguished international and Italian architectural practices. “We worked towards a project that carries its own significance while becomes part of an extensive urban design.
