Located in Brera, the hotel inaugurated Bulgari’s entry into hospitality, framing contemporary luxury through a distinctly Milanese sensibility. The project reworked a 1950s building, already layered with earlier structures, into a discreet urban retreat that mediates between historical continuity and refined modernity.
At its heart lies a 4,000-square-metre garden, once part of a 17th-century monastery, which restores a sense of seclusion within the city. Generous proportions, crafted materials, and fluid spatial sequences define public areas and guest rooms alike, establishing a calm, enduring elegance that informed subsequent developments worldwide.
