With Glen Oliver Löw
Ad Hoc anticipates how early desktop computing would reshape work, treating the office not as a fixed set-up but as a configurable system for individuals and teams. Desks pair with partition walls (including perforated panels), mobile pedestals with grab handles, and a palette of neutral and accent elements, supporting “team office”, “non-territorial” and home-office scenarios.
Assembly is screw-based rather than glued, so components remain independent, interchangeable, and fully demountable, making repair, reuse, and recycling integral to the design. A clear industrial language - sheet metal, precise junctions, strong colours - keeps function legible while allowing growth and reconfiguration. Updated and expanded over time, Ad Hoc stands as a flexible, sustainable system that aligns furniture, technology, and changing patterns of work.
