Set along the Elbe River in Hamburg, the Edel Headquarters forms part of a wider urban regeneration that transformed a former industrial waterfront into a civic corridor. The building’s C-shaped footprint frames a semi-public courtyard facing the river, while a transparent, double-height ground floor hosts shared functions that open directly onto the waterfront. Above, three office levels cantilever toward the river, creating protected terraces and workplaces with ample daylight. A material palette of glass, concrete and timber underscores openness, precision and a direct relationship with the site.
